A brilliant sunny day welcomed our Seventh Championship Show to the new venue of The Greig Centre in Alcester. This Show, shared this year with The Egyptian Mau Cat Club's second Exemption Show has outgrown the hall a mile or so up the road in Mappleborough Village in Warwickshire.
The Show brought together some of the Country's top Exotics with the Breeders' and Exhibitors' bringing the fabulous cats
The Club was also delighted to extend a warm welcome to the Egyptian Mau Club who hosted their second Exemption Show
The Judges for the day were: Louvane Stevenson, Sally Tokens and Monika Forster - all of whom did a great job and certainly made a lot of people happy. Birgit Solstein was the Duty Vet for the day. Birgit had a relaxing day in preparation for her 24 hours stint the following day at her busy PDSA hospital in Bow, London
The Club also wishes to thank all our sponsors who so generously supported our breed specialist show. We were fortunate to have a car park close by so carrying the goodies was "easy".
Our thanks also go to the great people who manned the kitchen and provided excellent food and beverages throughout the day.
The two hardest working pair must be Shealgh Heavens and Kit Game who manage the Show. The day ran so smoothly that it seemed effortless, but that is because of all the hard work put in before the Show in preparation. Without this effort, the Exotic Cat Fancy would be the poorer - Thanks Shelagh and Kit.
