Sixth Championship Show

All Fool's Day - but not for the exhibitors who came to the Exotic Cat Club Show. The show was the sixth highly successful Championship Show put on by the Club and was held in the fantastic country setting of Mappleborough Village in Warwickshire. The Show demonstrated again the great advances that have been made in the Breed over the few years that the Exotic Cat Club has been holding shows. The large number of Exotics also showed the great interest in these beautiful cats.

The Club was also delighted to extend a warm welcome to the Egyptian Mau Club who hosted their first Exemption Show and shared a great day with us.

In addition to the wonderful Exotics, there were some delightful household pets on display.

The Judges for the day were: Anne Gregory, Isobella Bangs, Pauline Rogers and Celia Leighton all of whom did a great job and certainly made a lot of people happy. Birgit Solstein was the Duty Vet for the day. Special thanks go to Birgit, who manages one of the busiest East London's PDSA clinics, yet still found time within her grueling shift pattern, to spend the day with us.

The Club also wishes to thank all our sponsors who so generously supported our breed specialist show. Again this year it was fortunate that the car park was close as the exhibitors staggered out with arms full of goodies!
